Long Live The King!

Long Live The King! is a game in which two players take on the role of nobles seeking power. You must bribe, kill, and bluff your way to the top, but beware your rivals along the way! Ascending to the throne will not be easy, as your every move will be watched. Gather allies, eliminate lords that get in your way, and claim power!

You and your opponent must begin by finding allies in the lower echelons of the King's court. Expand your conspiracy by influencing Lords, or kill those who stand in the way to move your conspirators to higher positions. To win, you must cozy up to the King and use your influence to sway the King himself and become the power behind the throne... or get close enough to sieze power by force.

Gameplay

Players take turns performing actions as they try to gain influence, bring Lords into their conspiracy, or kill those that are in the way to move their conspirators up in the ranks. As players gain different Lords, new actions are available to them. However, players can claim to have the aid of any of the available Lords in order to literally get away with murder. If you are caught lying by your opponent, you may end up losing your hard earned influence. Of course, a false accusation reflects just as badly on you as being caught in a lie - so be careful! If your rival is telling the truth, you may be the one seeing your influence in the court plummeting!
