Description
Thousands of years ago in ancient India there arose a civil war within the Kuru kingdom in Hastinapura, India. What began as a promise out of love by a young prince to his king father, it set the stage for conflict in subsequent generations of the family. In the end dharma triumphed but at an enormous cost.
When first told by Sage Veda Vyasa, this epic history was first titled "Jaya" (meaning "victory"). It would be retold many times over in the hundreds of years afterwards. But in this same way, we are introducing this first set of collectors cards with the same name. Additional sets will be developed with time with our hope being to spread our love of the legends and history of India.
NOTE: This is NOT a game. It is a set of cards with vibrant illustrations of the people and events of the Mahabharata story along with descriptive text on the back of the cards.
