Meeple Nativity

There were shepherds out in the field keeping watch over their flock by night. An angel appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone around them. They were filled with fear, but the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news that will bring joy for all meeples."

The Story of the Birth of Jesus

Joseph went up from Galilee from the town of Nazareth to the city of Bethlehem to be enrolled with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. While they were there, she gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Now there were shepherds in that region keeping the night watch over their flock. The angel of the Lord appeared to them and proclaimed, "Today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord."

Magi from the east saw a new star and, knowing that it signified the birth of a king, travelled a great distance to pay him homage.

So they all went in haste to Bethlehem and found Mary, Joseph and the infant lying in the manger. They prostrated themselves and did him homage. Then the magi opened their treasures and offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
