An Urban Development Game Designed by Dylan Coyle.
The Menomonee Valley, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was an industrial powerhouse in the 19th century but fell to ruin the century following. Restoration projects starting in 1998 and 2015 helped restore the valley, but it faces many challenges coming into a 21st century globalized world. You play as a programme managers racing to submit a full development plan to win.
On your turn you may do one of three actions:
[A] Add 1 random connection to a network pool and 1 to your schedule.
[B] Bid for a pile of contacts, invest in a revitalization project, and pass the next player with an equal or smaller schedule.
[C] Acquire a contract and unlock a new power.
(Your schedule size = connections+contracts+projects.)
The game ends and you win as soon as you meet two of the following conditions:
Two contracts of the same type (shape), two contracts of the same sector (color), two revitalization projects, or 7 connections.
See the attached rule book for more details. Thanks for checking this project out!
