Description
Look who’s coming to dinner! Merc the Monarch (as in Kill the Queen/King) is a 1 on 1 strategy game that takes place at a dinner party between rival kingdoms trying to assassinate each other's Monarchs.
Move your masked guests around the table getting closer and closer without getting caught. If you think someone is moving too close to your Queen or King, reveal their identity quickly. When you have your assassin in place, signal them to strike! But don't forget which guest was your own Assassin or you will have revealed yourself as the fool.
The board acts as the dinner table. The cards are all masked guests with different abilities that come into play as they are revealed one by one. Gameplay is easy to learn, hard to master. Deceit, caution, and a sharp memory will all be essential to win Merc the Monarch!
