Merlin’s Purrfect Lenormand is based upon the Petit Jeu thirty-six card deck. Each card has a symbol, pip, card number, and even the name of the symbol. These features are especially helpful for beginners; however, more seasoned Lenormand readers may find them useful as well. This deck was made in a poker-sized format, making it is easier for those who use the grand tableau spread.
Please note that Lenormand is different from the tarot. The obvious factor is there are less cards. Also, Lenormand has a simpler, down to Earth aspect, while tarot is more esoteric. Lenormand does have its complexities, which is why I have included a PDF with insights on how to read the cards, plus meanings for each of the thirty-six cards.
This deck was created to honor my cat, Merlin, who crossed over on February 6th, 2021. The idea to create a Lenormand deck was inspired by a dream I had about an alien and a science lab! If you’re interested, you can read about that dream here Dream that Led to Lenormand Cards - Pamela Cummins
