Players will ask each other simple "yes or no" questions in this game, the answers of which will determine how they move along the board. The aim of the game is to reach the centre, finding the Middle Ground.
NOTE: This game works best for children 5-11 years old.
ANOTHER NOTE (oh jeez!): When playing with 4 players, the REPEL move (see instruction booklet) has to be used for players who go passed the finish square in forward direction.
Children with SEN can take away further benefits from this game, especially when provided with guidance by either a teacher or parent. The benefits are as follows:
Empathy: The nature of the game means that children will pay attention to their peers likes and dislikes. This will help with their sense of perspective. With guidance, discussions could be made to enhance this learning.
Focus/ Attention: Your children will have to be paying attention to their peers in order to know when and how to move. In the process they will also learn about them.
Introspection: As your child may learn about opinions differing to their own, they may start thinking more about their own thoughts and as such, this game can be a good warm-up activity for lessons on self-awareness/ emotional self-regulation.
NOTE: Expansion decks of questions will be made in future.
