This is a simple game for two players that uses and strengthens memory and concentration.
The object of the game is to win two out of the three reward cards contained within the tin. To do so, you must unlock more of the eight gates on top of the tin than your opponent. These gates are sealed with hexagrams from the ancient Chinese book called the I Ching. Surrounding the tin are twenty-four face down key cards. Each of these contains a trigram (two trigrams create a hexagram).
Reveal the correct two key cards for the topmost gate and you unlock it. If not, your opponent can now try to do the same.
The rewards also come with burdens for whomever is winning, slightly tipping the scales to keep the balance between the opponents.
