Mixing Magic

Welcome to Mixing Magic! You are a busy potions shopkeeper working hastily to finish your orders. Unfortunately you’re not the only potions shop in town! You have rivals, and they want your business.

Draw cubes of potions from your bag and use them wisely to either assist in fulfilling an order, or to be sold for tools needed to brew potions.

Be the shop to successfully complete the most orders by the end of the day, and you will surely be awarded the title of #1 potion shop in town!

How to play a round of Mixing Magic

The game plays over a series of rounds, made up in phases. Each round, players flip one Round Tracker card for the table, and add a minimum of one Order card to their tableaus. Then all players draw five potions from their bags.

Next players enter the first phase, Trading, in which they trade potions with each other and/or the supply bag.

In the second phase, Assign, players use their potions to fulfill Orders and buy tools from the market.

In the final phase, Flip, any player who completed an Order card flips it, showing it as complete.

Once all phases are complete, if the game has not ended, players then gain two potions from the supply. If the final Round Tracker card has been flipped, the game ends and players add up their completed Order cards. The player with the most completed cards is the winner! If there is a tie, the player with the most tools is the winner. If there is still a tie, the winner is the player with the fewest Bad Luck Brews.
