Description
Transform yourself into one of 6 Hillbilly characters in this crazy game of making moonshine and sabotaging your competition deep in the woods of the South! Be the likes of Cletus, Mary Beth, Buck, Cooter, Betty Lou, and John Boy while making sure the sheriff doesn't spoil your fun!
Moonshiners is a resource based game where each character has a different recipe to make moonshine. Using the resource deck, players will find sugar, water, corn, yeast, and barley to make 5 moonshines first and win. But BEWARE!!! There are cops lurking nearby to bust you as well as your competition to try to steal your moonshine!
**How To Play**
Each player picks a Hillbilly character card from the "Player Deck". This will have a unique recipe that you need to follow to make your Moonshine. Who ever makes 5 moonshines first wins!
From the "Item Deck" each player receives 7 cards for their hand. No matter what, at the end of each turn you must make sure you have 7 cards in your hand at all times!
In the item deck we have included all of the items for the recipe; corn, sugar, yeast, water, and barley. But there are other surprises to make things challenging!
Cop Card: If you draw this card from the item deck you lose 1 moonshine!
Hound Dog: This protects you from the cop and other players trying to steal and sabotage you.
Sabotage Card: This allows any player to remove 3 cards from their opponent! This makes that person draw 3 new cards. Not only does this have the ability to remove cards that they need for their recipe, but they have to draw new cards which could possibly be cop cards! Also the person playing the Sabotage card gets 3 cards from their opponent that they can trade with their own hand! You just need to always have 7 cards in your hand and discard the rest.
Steal Card: This card says it all. It allows you to steal 1 moonshine card from any player. Crush your opponents dreams of winning by taking 1 before they win!
