Every pair of the 24 cards contains either
(a). 1 identical match between the two cards (e.g., baby hippo and baby hippo)
and
1 mother and child match between the two cards (e.g., elephant and elephant calf)
OR
(b). 1 Supermatch (same mother/child duo picture; note that there are no other matches in this case)
Players race to find and call out matches. Usually a round ends when one player calls out an exact match (“baby hippos!”) and one player calls out a mother and child match (“mother and child elephants!”). The player who first called out an exact match wins one of the cards, and the player who first called out a mother and child match wins the other card.
In the rare case there is a Supermatch, the first player to call out the match (“Supermatch – koalas!”) wins both cards. Note that there are no further matches to be found in this case.
The person with the most cards at the end wins.
That's it! Rules so easy they fit on the inside of the box.
The game is a lot of fun for the whole family. It accomodates a small or large number of players equally well.
