Motion to Vacate

Historic Moment

For the 1st time in American history, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, the U.S. House of Representatives, known as the "Peoples' Chamber", voted to vacate the Speakership of Kevin McCarthy of California.

Without a sitting Speaker, the Peoples' Chamber cannot conduct the peoples' business.

The House of Representatives stands in recess until the call of the chair, who preside over the election of a new Speaker.

Collectible Trading Card Game

To commerate this historic moment for the country, and the U.S. House of Representatives, Motion to Vacate was created.

Motion to Vacate is a collectible trading card game of 433 shiny foil cards.

There is a card for each Member of Congress, which State they represent, and Party they affiliate with.

Each card also denotes how the Congressmember voted on the question to table the resolution to declare the office of Speaker of the House of Representatives to be vacant, and on the resolution to itself.

Limited Edition

Each Motion to Vacate card pack contains 18 randomly selected shiny foil cards.

Motion to Vacate will be limited edition by virtue of the number of orders that will be fulfilled.
