In this game, you and your friends are up and coming musicians trying to make the best song to become famous. In this fun musicals strategy game, you and your friends play Sound Cards to your Song Board to make the best song.
At the start of the game everyone rolls their dice to determine their play order. After that, each player gets dealt a Genre Card, which is what their song should be based on. Each Genre has certain Sounds that it awards points for and takes some points away from.
There are 16 Sound Cards and they are: Guitar, Vocals, Bass, Drums, Piano, Violin, Trumpet, Trombone, Synthesizer, sound Effects, Chiptune, Cymbals, Keyboard, Flute, Xylophone, and Harp.
There are 8 Genre Cards and they are: Country, Classical, Rap, EDM, Jazz, Pop, Rock, and Instrumental.
After getting dealt your Genre Card and your four starting Sound Cards, players get to take their turn. On your turn you can take 2 actions per turn. There are five possible actions that you can take: draw a Sound Card, discard a Sound Card, play a Sound Card to your Song Board, remove a Sound Card from your Song Board, and skip your turn. Your Song Board represents the song that you are making, and you can place four Sound Cards on it.
The game goes on for ten rounds. A round is complete after all players have taken one turn. After all ten rounds everyone’s Song Boards are scored based on their Genre Card and the cards remaining in their hands.
