Description
You are the crew of the HMS Defiant. One of you is planning a mutiny. The Mutineer’s goal: to keep your allegiance hidden while the others try to discover you.
Gameplay
Players accuse, deny, obfuscate and perform actions to determine who is the Mutineer. Take on the role of one of the crew, with actions unique to your role. Actions are designed to help the loyal crew discover the Mutineer, but also help the Mutineer direct the blame elsewhere. Loyalty is assigned using a separate allegiance deck, meaning any member of the crew could be the Mutineer. An innocence vote is cast to rule out one crewmate, followed by a guilt vote to declare another guilty. If the Mutineer is declared guilty, the loyal crewmates win. If anybody else is declared guilty, the Mutineer wins.
Included with the base game is the sympathizer variant. A Sympathizer card added to the allegiance deck means one crew member is on the side of the Mutineer.
