Description

The North American Nanohertz Observatory for Gravitational Waves (NANOGrav) regularly monitors an array of millisecond pulsars in an effort to detect and characterize low-frequency gravitational waves generated by distant, colliding galaxies. Pulsars are observed with some of the world's most sensitive radio telescopes and corresponding data sets are compiled, analyzed, and released every several years.

This 72-card deck includes 68 pulsar cards, one for each millisecond pulsar in NANOGrav's 15yr data set, and four info cards describing the rich information represented.

Own It Priced Well Nice Artwork

A deck of cards representing dead stars that comprise a galaxy-sized gravitational wave detector. So cool, and lots of educational potential.
