Nested Notes

Nested Notes is a musical Book-Building game for 2-6 players. Open a phrase with a whole note card, then add more notes to the phrase until you reach exactly 2 whole notes' worth to close the book. Take your chances with the draw pile; or trade with other musicians for the notes you need. If they won't play along, you can always steal!

Play continues until all cards are used or there are no more legal moves remaining. The player with the most completed phrases becomes the Meistro!

While the game is perfectly suited to adults, it also helps teach fractional math skills and basic music notation recognition. That makes it perfect for family game night or in the classroom. Advanced rules keep the game educational over time. With vibrantly-colored exciting artwork featuring fractal motifs, these may double as flash cards for your burgeoning Beethoven.
