In Newspaper Kid you are a young kid just looking to make some cash during the summer. Your ultimate goal is to make $50 but there are other kids in town competing for your customers.
Use a little, or a lot, of your savings to improve your chances. Deliver fast and get big tips, deliver too slow and your customers won't want you back. Try to delivery too many at once and you'll crash or get chased down by dogs. Press your luck as far as you can!

Newspaper Kid uses an action point system to move around the board and deliver papers. Over time subscribers will populate the board and the more you can deliver to, the more tips you can earn. However, the more subscribers you deliver to at once, the greater the chance you will run into a hazard which can cost you hard earned upgrades.
If a square gets too many subscribers they get displeased from lack of service and you can no longer show your face in that area. This can create a smaller board for all players to compete on creating intense, end-of-game scrambles. Since it may also block players from buying certain upgrades it encourages a sense of urgency in players as each decision matters more and more as the game progresses.
This game contains laser cut components. Laser cut items will have a slight amount of soot around the edges, which can easily be wiped off; and will have a campfire smell for about a week after you open them.
