Nexus: Legacy of Fate

The Nexus Crystal has been shattered; the world is in peril.
Two mystical clans are locked in eternal conflict.
Whoever can bring together ten shards of the Nexus Crystal will decide the fate of the world!

Nexus: Legacy of Fate is a 2 player game.
Each game represents a Battle between two opposing forces.
The goal is to defeat all your opponent’s Warriors in combat, and claim a Nexus Shard.
Over the course of a campaign of Battles, your Warriors will undergo permanent changes, for good and ill, and you will recruit new Warriors to your cause.

The first side to claim 10 Shards is the winner of the campaign:
your Clan can assemble the Nexus Crystal, and control Fate itself!

You will take control of one of the clans of Warriors: the Dragon Clan, or the Serpent Clan.
Choose your starting warriors and open their packs; you won't know exactly what you'll get in advance... add the cards to the common decks, and let the Battle commence!

During the game, you will be building your deck by drawing cards from the Battle Line, and either using those cards to attack your opponent, or spending them to complete Quests and gain powerful items, allies and abilities. It's a delicate balancing act between planning ahead and acting in the moment.

Quest Cards carry over between Battles, so your warrior can grow more powerful throughout the campaign. But punishing combat takes its toll as well... with every defeat your warrior will accrue Scars, adding challenging penalties. Scarred warriors are supported by reinforcements -- the defeated player gets to add a new warrior to their fighting force, and perhaps turn the tide in the next Battle...
