Nights of Strife is a period of civil unrest set in the 1890’s Europe, in a town permeated with evil, where creatures lurk in the shadows just beyond the light of the sun. Monstrous abominations that hunger for your flesh and your blood, Werewolves and Vampires, prowl the night, going from door to door to drag some poor townsfolk into the night kicking and screaming.

During the daylight hours it is for the people to choose who among them are the monsters that terrify the night, choose wisely. All the while Vigilantes lurk among you, unwilling to trust the opinion of the masses as they pick and choose who lives and dies. It’s for you, the townsfolk, to decide who to trust, because one wrong word could potentially lead to untimely demise of the Town and everyone in it.

1890, In an isolated area between Belgium and the Netherlands lays an area known as Harstäd whose people are quite familiar with hardships, war, and famine. Within this land lies many towns, farmlands, and a governmental seat of power. These people seek independence and a way out from neighboring turmoil. However, powers not fully understood by man are at play and mean to spawn nightmares amongst them and weave into society. What is this Dark power behind it all? Mankind attempts to fight back. Defensive powers rise. It all starts here.
