Nine Is For Crime

Based on the simple mechanic of spelling words, this game introduces the extra thrill of stealing words from your friends and preventing them from completing their hand.

Each round starts with players attempting to complete a Heist - a word of a specific value, such as a 5-letter word or a 21 point word.

They then must race to get rid of all the additional cards in their hand, by stacking duplicates in their own hand or by using their letters on other players' words to expand them. At the end of the round, those who make their heist get to move to the next level.

Watch out for thieves!

When used to expand words, these cards steal away the word and prevent the player from leveling up, unless they can snatch them back. Race to make your heist, and finish the round, before someone else pilfers victory from you.

Deck includes 100 letter cards (A=5, B=2, C=4, D=4, E=12, F=4, G=2, H=5, I=5, J=1, K=1, L=5, M=4, N=5, O=6, P=3, Q=1, R=5, S=5, T=7, U=4, V=2, W=3, X=1, Y=3, Z=1) 9 Wild cards, 12 Heist index cards (4 x regular play, 4 x quickplay, 4 x fun topics themed), and 1 contents card. An instruction book is also included.

Additional heist cards (included) can be used to reduce the playing time and change the topic/difficulty. Further heist cards and additional playing mechanic cards will be available for additional purchase too.
