Ninja Assassins

YOUR NINJA BACKSTORY:

A long, deep chime rings out from the top of the bell tower of the Ninja Sanctuary. That can only mean one thing: The Head Ninja Sensei has passed away. Though you are saddened at the death of your longtime friend and mentor, you know that he has been ill for some time and you are not surprised by the news. You race to the inner sanctuary with your other ninja companions. Each of you has been in training as a ninja since you can remember. You have been raised together and have been friends since your first day. The passing of Sensei is sure to change your relationships, but you hope that you will all be friends in the end.

The question now on everyone’s mind is “Who will replace him? Who will be the next leader of the Ninja Sanctuary?” You race to his now still body. It is customary for the Head Ninja to leave a note outlining who will be his successor. You look around frantically, wanting to find the note before your friends do. After a few desperate moments you finally spot it! There it is, poking out from underneath his pillow! You pull it out and unwrap the scroll. It reads:

“My dearest pupils,
If you are reading this scroll it means that I have passed away.
Each one of you is a talented and exceptional ninja apprentice and I am proud of you all. I have never seen so many extraordinary ninjas at once. However, this makes the choice of who is to be my successor a near impossible one.
As I lie here writing my final words, I have decided to let fate choose the next Head Ninja Sensei. Whoever can make it through the sanctuary first and assemble the Shuriken of Destiny will be my successor.
May fate travel with you my young friends,
Your Mentor- Sensei”

You pause as you finish the last line. The first to make it to the top of the sanctuary and claim the Shuriken of Destiny will be the next Head Ninja Sensei? So it’s a race? A competition? You aren’t sure how you feel about fighting against your other ninja friends.
Fortunately for you, you don’t have to think about it for long as a ninja throwing star comes flying past your head, grazing your ear. Apparently the sense of foreboding wasn’t a mutual feeling. You look up just in time to dodge another incoming ninja star. The friend who threw it is backing away slowly while two others are in combat and a few more are racing up the stairs to the first level of the sanctuary.

It may not be an ideal situation you’ve been put in, but then again ninja’s rarely find themselves in ideal situations. If it’s the Shuriken of Destiny you need, then it’s the Shuriken of Destiny you’ll get. You pull out your nun chucks and charge towards the sanctuary stairway. It’s game time!

GAME DESCRIPTION
Ninja Assassins is a fast-paced game where you and your friends play along with each other at the same time. Each round you have to decide if you're going to try to attack, defend, or ascend. Different weapon and item cards add additional affects to your moves and can give you an advantage over the other ninjas. Be the first one to make it to the top level of the sanctuary with at least 4 shards of the Shuriken of Destiny and you win!
