Description

Ninja Dojo Duels

In this turn-based, 3v3, ninja duel-style TCG, players have the opportunity to build and perfect their own personal decks and duel against other players and friends! There is a variety of cards to choose from, including over 150 different Ninjas and Companions from 12 different Dojos!

...

Ninjas: Each ninja has three levels and two attacks. Attacks can only be used twice in a row, and have a one round cool down time.

  • Student: Ninja cards that can be played at any time.
  • Ninja: Ninja cards that can be played with one evolution point, and after one round from their Student level.
  • Sensei: Ninja cards that can be played with two evolution points, and after one round from their Ninja level.
  • Dojo Master: Ninja cards that can be played after the sixth round, and after one phase from a Sensei from the same Dojo.

....

Companions: Each ninja can be given their companion as a Student. Companions have two abilities, the first is their team buff that can be used for any other ninja in the duel, and in parentheses is the amount of uses. The second is their Sensei level power-up that only works once every other round with their ninja at Sensei level.

...

W/T/S/P: Players may only play one of each of these cards per round, except potions. Example: you can play 1 weapon, 1 trap, 1 scroll, and 3 potions.

  • Weapons: Can be used to add damage to attacks.
  • Traps: Can be used to avoid attacks and/or trap other ninjas.
  • Scrolls: Can be used as an extra resource.
  • Potions: Can be used to add health and restore health conditions.

...

Energy Cards/ep: Each ninjas attack require a certain amount of energy, ep, in order to be performed. The energy cards in your deck have either one or three yin-yang energy points on them and that represent their worth. Each dojo has their own color specific energy cards, and there are also universal energy cards (they are solid white). Evolution Points:

...

Each player will start the with 6 evolution points to place on each of their opponents dueling positions. Each point must be used in order to get your ninjas from one phase to the next, unless you use a scroll. At the beginning of the first six rounds each player will place one evolution point on one of their opponents ninja card positions. If you opponent only has two ninja dueling then you may only place their evolution point in one of the two positions they are using. If your opponent is using all three positions you may place their evolution point in any card position you want.

.....

Rules:

  • Each player starts with a deck of 30 cards in random order.
  • To begin each round players will draw five cards and give each other one of their six evolution points.
  • The youngest player always gets the chance to attack first.
  • Attacks can only be used if your ninja has that many EP (energy point cards) attached to them.
  • Players can duel with a squad of up to 3 ninjas at time.
  • At the beginning of each round you may give your ninja a potion card if you have one, put a new ninja in play if there is an open position, play a weapon card, trap card, or scroll card, but only one of each. If playing with a partner you should use this time to talk strategy, as there is no coaching allowed in partner matches.
  • Each of your ninjas in play is allowed one attack, and if playing a ninjas companion they get one attack as well.
  • Ninjas are allowed to attack any other ninja or companion on the duel mat.
  • After calculating damage taken, both players may then draw another five cards and repeat until their decks are finished.
  • Once no cards are left players may continue to duel it out until the last ninja or ninjas on a team are standing!
