A fun family stock and railroad game with a funky name.
A new and innovative game system of railroad building and stock market speculation that rewards shrewd choices, wise decisions, and occasional risk-taking. Suitable for the whole family..
Players are 19th century railroad financiers, each trying to make the most money from building railroads and trading railroad stock in the stock market.
A quick turn/game summary is: draw cards, build a railroad line, collect stock and money, buy stock, sell stock, and determine the next economic climate, which affects stock prices and dividends.. Repeat until Chicago and St. Louis are connected to the Atlantic coast, then count everyone's money to see who has made the best decisions in building and stock trading. Other game elements are stock splits, supply/demand effects, and abandoning spur lines,
No one is ever out the game, and victory will be in doubt until the final turn. Just don't forget to pass the Caboose!
2-6 players, about 2-3 hours to play, ages 12 and up. Easy to learn and play, with challenging choices every turn.
