Oh Shoot! ...

You and a group of your friends have hiked into the woods and set up your camp site for the night. Everything is going fine until a grizzly bear raids your camp in the middle of the night looking for food. Finding all the food hidden, he decides the campers would make a good midnight snack. Now the race is on and as the saying goes, “You don’t have to outrun the bear, just your friends.”

To win you either need to be the last hiker alive or the first to make it to the car. This is a fun press your luck type game for the whole family.

We all know folks who struggle with remembering the rules and basic mechanics of games. This game is super easy to play which makes it a good gateway game for casual board game players. It is also quick with a minimum of picking on other players. While there is player elimination, games are quick enough that people aren't sitting out for very long. Being a quick game, it's also a good way to end game night and let players who haven't won yet get a win under their belt before the night is over.

The PDF below has the rules and printable board, other than that all you need is six six-sided dice, one four-sided die, a marker for each hiker and a marker for the bear.
