Step into a parallel universe where Uncle Sam may advocate for world peace, Ghengis Khan might just want to build aqueducts, Queen Victoria could want a doomsday device, and where JP Morgan is actually relevant.
Through the mad libs style of endless possibilities, Old World Order is a game about positioning yourself to complete your agenda before your competitors. Deceive your opponents into buying your vote when unnecessary and trick them into leaving the key vote relatively untouched. But through your trickery, do not let them discover your true agenda, or the house of cards may come crashing down around you.
It is time to fight for the ideology you hold so dear, whether it be freedom cola or tea and crumpets, it does not matter. What matters is that you win, and your faction takes control of the... Old World Order
Each player has political capital. They may use their political capital to pass policies and influence other players. Bribing politicians, pushing policies, and smothering agendas all require political capital.
Players are dealt a random character card and agenda. The character card is public and the agenda is secret.
Character cards each have a special ability.
Agendas cards are one of eight policies.
All three of your Agenda's policy cards must be passed to win the game.
Policies cards each have two agendas or additional instructions for the game.
On each player's turn, they take the roll of the speaker. And as speaker, they may use their special ability and propose policies from the policy deck.
