Open Space Duel 2009

A blast from the past, an unpublished little card game from 2009 revied and ready to rumble this is OPEN SPACE DUEL 2009!!

This one is pretty fun. Two players pick their starships and FIGHT TO THE DEATH using an arsenal of six of their favorite tactic cards ranging in strength from 1 (bad, do not want) to 6 (amazing, would fire again). Predict your enemy's move, counter with a stronger tactic, don't waste your 6-strengther, and use your starships' ability to the utmost and you just might BLOW UP THEIR STARSHIP!

You will have to supply your own dice or tokens.

Fortunately this website sells a variety of fun tokens and dice. My suggestion is to get three of these 12- sided dice . Any 5 six-sided dice will also work, as will as any 29 miscellanious small tokens.

The Companion book is not yet edited. It will be finished Saturday december 21st. This free companion book answers all your rules questions, tells the fun story of the game's origin, and even gives you a chart of the game's tactics and tips on using each starship.
