This version has the CARDS ONLY - for those of you who prefer to use your own dice and tokens.
In addition, these cards are numbered to allow for solo/multi-play challenges - where everyone has a deck and draws the same cards in the same order. (In a standard solo game these numbers are ignored).
You can also purchase the complete game (as shown in the action shots) with 18 cards, 15 dice, 2 tokens and rule book, all fitting neatly in a poker size tuck box, from The Game Crafter.
Orchard is a quick solitaire card laying game that plays in under 10 minutes. The aim of the game is to harvest fruit (score points) by playing cards so that their fruit trees overlap other trees already in the orchard that bear the same fruit. The more trees you can overlap, the more fruit you'll pick.
Each game is played with 9 cards. Colored dice are used to keep track of your increasing harvest. 2 black cubes represent 'rotten' fruit. These allow you to lay a card that you wouldn't otherwise be able to - but come with a points forfeit and can hinder further card placement. So you must decide if and when to use them.
This version consists of 18 different cards (UV coated, linen texture). Divide them into two 9 card decks. Once you've finished a game using one deck you can immediately play again using the other deck.
Orchard 9 card solitaire game is colour blind friendly.
