Cape City is a lot like most American cities, but there are two things that set it apart: 1. An inexplicably high number of SUPER VILLAINS come to town to hatch their EVIL SCHEMES. And 2. Improbable events tend to occur which grant everyday citizens SUPER POWERS.
Welcome to Cape City. In this game you get to be one these previously everyday citizens. Discover your own ORIGIN STORY as you to defend the city against the rising tide of VILLAINS. Your tale begins with a tragic and motivational backstory. Your abilities increase when a random SUPER EVENT grants you SUPER POWERS. Further enhance your crime fighting abilities through TRAINING and purchasing of EQUIPMENT. All of these combine to define your hero’s ATTRIBUTES: INTELLIGENCE, BRAWN, AGILITY, and DEFENSE.
As your abilities improve, however, the VILLAINS will also escalate from lowly street level criminals to powerful SUPER VILLAINS. Like a plague upon this great city, they will appear at random locations with an EVIL SCHEME to thwart the good citizens of Cape City. With over 3,000 possible combinations of VILLAIN, EVIL SCHEME, and LOCATION, the game is different every time you play.
Meanwhile, Cape City POLICE do not take kindly to masked vigilantes taking the law into their own hands. Do not let the POLICE catch you while wearing your SUPERHERO COSTUME. Evade the POLICE by jumping from rooftop to rooftop and establish your own SECRET LAIRS so you can change into and out of your COSTUME and keep your identity a secret.
Play competitively as rival SUPERHEROES or cooperatively as a LEAGUE OF HEROES. Get out there and protect your city!
