St. Cyprian of Antioch, or St. Cyprian, the sorcerer, often confused with St. Cyprian of Carthage, is a legendary figure venerated between Catholics and Orthodox.
It is believed that Cipriano was born in 250 AD in Antioch, where he learned magic, necromancy, astrology and alchemy. In attempting to win the heart of the young christian Justina and realize that her magic had no power over her, Cyprian recognized that the Christian God was superior and converted to christianity, becoming a saint martyr next to Justina.
The legends of Cipriano spread throughout Europe and it was in the Iberian Peninsula that the book of the saint-sorcerer became popular.
Very common in Portuguese and Spanish speaking countries, the famous book of St. Cyprian, full of spells, Christian prayers and exorcisms, is also known for the famous descriptions of buried treasures and various methods of cartomancy.
The Oracle of St. Cyprian is the result of instructions I received from a fortune teller, the cartomancy found in the various books of St. Cyprian, and my own knowledge of symbology and oracles.
This is one of many other ways to lay the cards according to St. Cyprian.
