Our Threads

Empathy is transformative.** In February 2022, Fugees Family, Inc. students came together for an iThrive Studio with iThrive Games to create a game that supports refugee students resettling in towns and cities across the U.S., as well as non-refugee students, in feeling understood, welcomed, and cared for.

The questions and patterns included in this deck were written and provided by Fugees Family, Inc. students from Afghanistan, Bhutan, Burundi, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Iraq, Karen, Kenya, Kurdistan, Libya, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, Rwanda, Senegal, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Thailand, Togo, Uganda, Yemen, and Zambia.
