Description
Outflank : Waterloo is an exciting battle game themed around the events of 1815. It's an easy game to learn, in which you try to win battles by putting together the best chain of command that you can before time runs out. During each battle round you risk troops to the cause based on your considered chance of winning. The game is played 1 vs 1, 2 vs 1 or else 2 vs 2. Battles are won entirely via the card game, whilst the board allows for certain advantages to be gained in battle. One side plays the Napoleon led French, whilst the other side plays the Allied forces led by Wellington. The game can be won by destroying your opponent's troops or else by winning the majority of battles. A battle takes about 15-20 minutes to play, which makes for a quick card game when time is scarce. A full game can take a few hours, as it involves a series of battles played out on the board. For that version of the game you'll need to win and retain 6 of the 10 battle sites , or else wipe out your opponent's army.
