Parcel Posts

A Roll & Write Game of Perfecting Post Placement for Partitioning Property into Precious Parcels.

Requirements

30-60
2-6
12+

Description

You’re a property owner who would like to divide your land into parcels to rent out and create an income stream. You had post holes dug to create square one acre parcels but have since figured out that larger parcels bring in higher rents. Anything larger than 15 acres will be too hard to rent out. Your task is to fence in rectangular parcels so you can rent it all out.

Roll the custom Parcel Posts dice to determine how many posts (pips) and in what configuration you can place them on your property (score sheet). Draw fences when posts are orthogonally adjacent. Once any player has completely divided their property into nice enclosed rectangular parcels, the game is over. Total your scores for the title of savviest land owner!

Fun

This looks like it would be a fun challenge. It reminds me of the Dots and Boxes game I played as a kid, but brought up a level....or two.
