Make dinosaurs for your theme park by matching cards.
Theme:
Build your own Dinosaur Theme Park! Extract ancient DNA and reincarnate a variety of crowd-pleasing dinosaurs. Visitors will come from across the world to Isla Juego,
your island of enormous beasts from the past.
Here are the rules:
Setup:
Shuffle the main deck and the goals deck.
Set aside the 33 cards representing each of the 7 different dinosaurs. These are used to represent dinosaurs that you create during your turn.
Place three goals face up. These are the initial objectives for all players.
Designate an area within reach of all players as "wild". It is the place where
escaped dinosaurs go.
Deal out 5 cards to each player from the main deck.
Randomly determine who plays first.
Objective:
Be the first to collect enough goal cards to reach the victory condition.
2 players = 10 popularity, 3 players = 7 popularity, 4 players = 5 popularity
Game Play:
During your turn do the following:
1. Draw 2 cards from the main deck
2. Play up to 1 action from your hand by discarding it and stating its targets
3. Create any number of dinosaurs from your hand by combining and discarding matching colored dinosaur silhouettes. Orange Ankylosaurus requires 2 cards. Blue Hadrosaur,
Purple Velociraptor, Yellow Triceratops, and Pink Stegosaurus each require 3 cards.
Green Brontosaurus, and Red Tyrannosaurus each require 4 cards. The small black
silhouettes on the cards are reminders on how many cards are needed to create a
dinosaur of that type. Cards that have two different dinosaur silhouettes can be used for either dinosaur depicted, but not both. Dinosaurs created in this manner are in
your park unless they escape via an action card.
4. Collect up to 1 goal from the goal deck. Goals can be collected when you have the dinosaurs listed on the goal currently present in your park.
5. Discard down to 10 cards in hand at the end of your turn.
Additional Rules:
Replace face up goals with the next one from the goals deck when one is taken.
Shuffle the discard pile to form a new main deck when the main deck is depleted.
