A mysterious sleuth is advancing quickly and will shortly reveal your nefarious deeds. If you don't act quick, this is going to land you in jail.
Or worse, working with nobodies opening the mail.
Time to grab enough power to firstly get edited out of this document drop and expose.
Then straight to the top of the heap without delay!
Pass The Power is a fun card passing and set building game with a darker edge. In this game, players start off as low-level thugs about to be exposed for wrong-doing by a sleuth. The only way to get out of this mess is to aim for the top by accumulating as many sets of corrupting influences as possible. And who knows, someone on the darker side may be taking notes on who might make a good next recruit.
The game consists of 1 to 6 corrupt players trying to outrun a sleuth by passing cards and making sets to outscore each other and win the game.

Moving costs you cards and gives your opponents extra options, but if you don’t move fast enough the sleuth will catch you out. And you need enough of the right cards to score – getting synergistic cards together really makes the points stack up. And to top it all off – you’ll want to move through the different types of corruption as the game goes on to get access to higher value sets.
All the cards have synergies – if you decide to make a set with drug running, then you’ll want a good laundry mat to clean all that cash, obviously. The moving in this game puts a new spin on card passing. To move along the board players pass cards equal to the number of spaces they move to the next player, and then that player can include some of the passed cards into their hand, or not, and then pass the same number received to the next player. The last player then does the same but discards this number of cards in the relevant discard piles next to the cards being drawn from.
The game ends once the sleuth makes it to the end of the board and releases their explosive expose. And any players that made it back count up their points to see who is just bad enough to swing things in their favour and get redacted from the expose.
Watch what other players are collecting or what sets they have down - try not to pass them cards to their advantage.
Try keeping some extra cards in your hand so you have something to exchange when other players are passing cards.
Don't get too far behind the sleuth trying to get a specific card.
While it is tempting to make early sets from your Thug life, they don't score very high. It might be better to use them for moving or other types of sets.
It is tempting to put down 3 to 5 of a kinds but they are a double edged sword - they can block you from getting higher scoring runs. (But can be useful if you think your opponent is trying for that.)
