Every turn begins with the fateful roll of a die, determining if you can swiftly traverse deeper into the dungeon's depths or whether you must unsheathe your weapons once more. Roll a 1 or 2 and ready your warrior for battle - specialized life clip trackers will represent the dwindling health of both yourself and the enemies faced, adding tangible stakes to each skirmish. Triumph in combat to capture spoils of coins. Fail after losing all clips and death's dark resurrection fountain awaits you to continue your perilous quest. Navigate the mystical ever-changing labyrinth, reshaping itself anew every quest. Choose your path across one of 8 distinct underground realms filled with unique tiles – some offer handy tunnel shortcuts while others hide bustling markets to purchase new abilities or level up your warrior.

Steel yourself as combat begins! On your turn, play up to X action cards depending on your current level - tactical decisions between damaging foes or healing yourself make every card play count. After you perform your actions, roll the fateful die to determine the enemy's attack potency. Standard attacks chip away, but beware of special critical hits that trigger based on the die roll, inflicting mortal wounds if luck sours.
