The Nuragic Civilization had its home in Sardinia, where they would build large megalithic towers known as Nuraghes, which give the name to the civilization. They also were able forgers, making little trinkets and weapons out of bronze, they practiced viticulture and had many types of religious practices involving the Cult of the Waters.
In People of the Isle, you'll be tasked with leading one of the many tribes of the island, trying to make it emerge as the best one.
People of the Isle is played over 6 rounds, where players will go in turns taking various actions, like buildig megalithic structures, researching inventions, trading, and of course, claiming territory. However, the tribes weren't hostile to each other; when entering a tile already owned by a player, the population there will happily coexist, unless the population limit per tile has been already reached; in that case, a "Push" will happen and one of the population meeple will have to migrate to an adjacent tile. Territory isn't the only source of competition. Players are also able to claim cards representing Religious Structures, which give additional ways to score points. At the end of the 6th round, the player with the most points wins.
