Pirates Of The Spanish Main

Long days of back breaking work on a ship at sea. Whips cracking at your back. Orders shouted. Bad food. Foul moods. Little pay, when you can get it. And now you have to stay aboard ship while the officers and most of the crew go into port. You have had enough. It's time to gather the lads, steal the ship and make your own way into the world. It's time to be a Pirate!

In Pirates Of The Spanish Main, you get to play the part of a pirate captain who has a ship and crew, and just starting upon a piratical career.
You have no master. Will you attack every ship you encounter? Will you attack and plunder rich ports? Will you be the most famous pirate in the world, or settle for the richest? This is a game where you can find a map and go looking for treasure. Run your fingers through the gold and jewels. Load your cannons and join in a World of Piracy!

Ship vs Ship: You always roll 2 six-sided dice, vs whatever type of dice the enemy ship uses. Match or beat that roll and you win and loot the ship. Fail to beat it, and you lose ship points and possibly lose a ship. Will you end combat or go at it again?

Fleet vs Port: Use up to 3 ships to attack the fortifications of a Port. Roll 2 six-sided dice, vs 2 or 3 eight-sided dice. Match or beat that roll to be able to plunder the port or else take damage. will you continue combat or turn and run?

If you find a Treasure Map, you can go to that location and find it. But that takes time and you only have 1 HOUR of playing time to become a Legendary Pirate.
