Description
This game is inspired by Pirates, those free-wheeling rogues who roamed the open seas. Only the most ruthless won notoriety and great treasure. Are YOU one?
Plunder Straits is a pirate-themed strategy board game where players sail around a map, entering harbors and trading cargo for gold. Each turn, players draw Plunder cards which can benefit them by giving them extra turns or gold or by increasing their ability to defend, attack, or move. Players can also attack other players and take their cargo, gold, or abilities for themselves. The first player to bury 50 gold, become a pirate captain and keep their Jolly Roger flying wins the game.
Plunder Straits game play closely follows the way it was for pirates - high risk and big rewards. You could be at the top, about to take it all and win the game, and suddenly have it all taken away. You could look like you're losing and then have your fortune change in a single turn. A combination of skill and luck are needed to win.

- This game contains a premium upgrade called UV Coating that makes the printed components more durable.
- This game contains laser cut components. Laser cut items will have a slight amount of soot around the edges, which can easily be wiped off; and will have a campfire smell for about a week after you open them.
