It's time to find some good omens.

OVERVIEW

In Portents 1-2 players take on the roles of fortunetellers who are trying to make a future for themselves. To win, they must claim the best collection of omens from a scattering of bird sacrifices on the altar.

GAMEPLAY

The gameplay focuses on pushing clacky acrylic tiles on and off a 4x4 altar.

The goal is to into create strategically placed lines of 4 with a common attribute, called Portents.

Well placed Portents allow you to claim Omen Tokens from the altar, and collecting Omens is how you win the game.

Turns are simple and designed to evoke the feeling of doing nonsense sleight-of-hand. Here's how they work:

A unique combination pattern recognition, hand management, and set collecting add up to an experience that feels like making up a divination ritual on the fly.

SOLO MODE

The solo mode is an intense puzzle where the player competes against a AI cat. Its Nekomancy is simple to run yet dynamic and challenging, without the need for an automa deck. You don't need to be too sophisticated if the King thinks you're cute in this game.

Though the objective and core actions are the same, playing the solo mode ratchets up the stakes every turn by forcing players to create Portents every turn, or face consequences.
