Your stomach's rumbling and there are lots of yummy animals about. But be careful, there are other cats and they want to catch them as much as you do!
Enter the world of POUNCE and become a cat competing to be the first one to catch 8 food worth of prey. Each round, a prey card is turned over, and everyone chooses secretly whether they want to Pounce, Sleep or Stalk.
Once everyone's chosen, they show their cards!
Sleep allows you to draw 2 cards from the deck, or discard a card to draw 3 more cards.
Stalk draws you one more card, while providing you with 2 Intimidation next time you pounce on a future round.
Pounce allows you to try to catch the prey, but if multiple cats pounce, only the cat who plays more Intimidation catches the prey! Whether you catch it or not, you must pay the Energy cost of the prey card.
In the deck are lots of other powerful cards:
Skill cards such as Fishing, Sharp Vision, and Camoflauge give your cat useful permanent abilities.
Power cards like Bite, Groom, and Scratch give you powerful one-time actions that allow you to attack other cats, select cards to draw, and more.
