This deck of hexagonal flash cards is designed to help you learn about primates. The cards present 48 primate species: 8 apes, 33 monkeys, 6 strepsirrhines, and 1 tarsier. Each card has a brief description of a species on one side, and a photo and species name on the other. There is additional information on the species, including conservation status, taxonomic group, and the geographic region where the animal lives, on the edge of each card.
Practice your primate knowledge with these flash cards. Once you master the content, play against 1–3 opponents. During the game, you will read the species description on a card, and if you can correctly name the species, you have the chance to play that card. This means you should try to match the attributes of the species (conservation, taxonomy, geography) to the cards already on the table. If you find a match, your card stays on the table. Each player takes turns trying to name the species and match her/his card. The winner is the first player who lays down all her/his cards on the table.
