A humorous corporate card game about getting promoted by working hard... and dodging the blame when things go wrong!
Each round of Project Panic starts with the first player selecting one of 12 possible projects, each of which adds special rules to the game.
Players then play cards one at a time, with numbered cards representing work done and Excuses representing skipping out on it. The number you play must be as high or higher than the previous one played, so sooner or later someone won't be able to play. When that happens, the project fails and that player takes the blame. Everyone else collects VP based on their contributions and the first player to 15 VP wins!
But the project chosen can wildly change the rules. They range from simple effects like Public Relations Stunt, which causes the numbers to go down instead of up... to ones like Trust-building Exercise which allows players to lie about the card they just played!
With 12 different projects and players taking turns being the one to select the next project, no two games are alike.
