Description
4. Dawning of a New Era With the Gems of MonRa, hidden safely with the noble guardians, Reinhum and MonRa seem to no longer be in peril. Back in Hal Haffa and Shanadare, evil is on the rise. After Hipanos’ failed attempt of taking control of the realm with his goblin army, he went into hiding. Now a year later, he has joined forces with Belial in hopes to raise an army of evil, trained in the dark arts. He bides his time building a force of evil, that he hopes will conquer the realm. Meldock, however has another plan. The mighty wizard requests the help of many forces of good, from all over the realm. He plans to track down Hipanos and put an end to him and his evil ways before he has the chance to grow in power once again.

GETTING STARTED
To start the game, choose a Location from your deck and place it on the table. You can look at the line of text just below a card’s art to see what type of card it is. These two Locations are each players Territory. All Locations placed on the table afterwards must go in between these two Locations.
To decide who goes first each player splits their deck, reveals a card, and reads the cards Fate Number. The player with the highest number goes first.
Declare whether you are fighting for Good or Evil at the start of the game. This will determine what color you use during your Activation Phase. You must be one or the other, not both. However, each player may both be from the same side (Good vs. Good, Evil vs. Evil). Shuffle your deck, (also known as your Reserve Deck) draw a hand of seven cards (there is no limit to how many cards you may keep in your hand after). You and your opponent each start with 30 life points. Reduce your opponent’s life points to 0 or less and you win the game!
