LinkPlayers each start with seven cards. The first player gives a one word clue that will describe 1, 2, or 3 cards from the seven cards. Those cards are then discarded. The clue will be one word and one number....Punch for Two...is an example. Then that same player will decide what color of words the other players will be selecting from...red, black, or both...are the choices. Then each player will try to discard 1, 2, or 3 cards that match the same clue. The player who gave the clue will judge *if they are discardable. If no cards are eligible to be discarded because they don't match the clue, that player must draw* a card. They may discard the drawn card if it matches the clue. Then the next player will give a one word clue and a number...When a player has discarded all of their cards. The game is over and the first one to discard all cards is the winner.
If you look at the *example *provided, you will see that the one word clue is Punch. The two cards to be discarded are Box (because when you box, you punch) and Drink (because punch is a type of drink), Both of those words are red, therefore it is an opportunity to limit the other players choices.
