Relay Rivals

Introduction

Relay Rivals is a Party Game we created to cater to a wide range of players. You can play with 4 people or 15! You do not need an even number of players and can play with parties even larger than 15 but we typically do not recommend playing with more than 3 teams of 5 so that everyone is involved. The game is geared for ages 13 and up but that really speaks to being able to do some general knowledge trivia and recognizing classic songs.

Relay Rivals is a competitive team-based racing game where teams are trying to be the first to the finish line of an Epic Relay Race. As you navigate the course there will be hazards and power ups that will make the course harder or easier. However, going after the power ups causes you to detour off course which could be the difference between winning and losing the race. So your teams will have to discuss which pathway you want to go. Throughout the course you will stop at 3 Arenas! These arenas are the proving grounds where your team will relay race against the clock! Each team member will perform a different task while their teammates guess correct answers. You will need to get all of the tasks done in a row before the three-minute timer goes off in order to keep advancing down the board. Once you have made it to and completed the 3rd Arena you have reached the finish line and are the winners of Relay Rivals!

Challenges

The Arenas will require you to complete various challenges. The challenges are as follows:

Specialist - Categorizing

Contortionist - Bend and twist

Artist - Freehand drawing

Psychic - Word association

Braniac - General knowledge trivia

Decoy - Singing and performing
