OVERVIEW
The taxi cartel has lost its grip on the six northern cities. You are the leader of a rideshare corporation and you are on a mission to scoop up riders left stranded in the wake of the cartel’s collapse. But you are not the only rideshare operator in town, and so far it’s been a tight race for dominance.
Rideshare Wars is a strategy card game in which players are running competing rideshare corporations. You'll start with a few rideshare drivers that you'll use to acquire riders and build up your market share across the six northern cities. Whoever acquires the most valuable riders wins the game at final scoring. But...
...But the game starts out with players locked in a frantic race to earn milestone awards (represented by milestone cards) for being the first to acquire certain combinations of riders in each city. Whoever is the first to earn 4, 5 or 6 milestone awards (depending on player count) instantly wins and the game ends. The game plays to final scoring after 15 rounds only if no one snatches an instant win via milestone cards.
The need to prevent other players from snatching instant win will distract you from relentlessly pursuing the highest value rider cards. Thus, the main challenge of the game is successfully navigating the tension between the short-term objective (that is, preventing others from snatching instant win) vs long-term objective (that is, acquiring the highest value rider cards).

"Overall, everyone who played it enjoyed it, and would like to play it again. A huge compliment from non-gamers!"
