GAME STRUCTURE
R.I.P. City Hoodz is a competitive worker placement/resource management game with competitive head-to-head action as you move your workers from place-to-place collecting and trading recourses while knocking opponents out of critical zones so they can't do the same. Coordinate your workers to move together for more control or spread them out for maximum flexibility. Use three workers at all times or change it up with one worker and a second that it worth two. No single strategy will survive unscathed.

SETTING
The Riverside Immigration Pier wasn’t supposed to be a city… but in the 1880’s, immigration got completely out of control. The swolen masses broke free from their detention zones and settled right there as free people. It is one century later and the nation has nearly abandoned all hope of integrating this terrible sprawl back into civilization. But where some lament dystopia – others feast on it. R.I.P. City is a disaster zone – thrive or die.

OVERVIEW
The game takes place in the hard-core 1970’s ghettos of R.I.P. City. Crime is so rampant that the city is unofficially spelled R.I.P. City. Every player takes the role of aBoss in control of a gang. They command gang members called RIPPERS to carve out their niche and protect their own.

OBJECTIVE
The city is divided among countless local gangs - each dreaming for supremacy - but each limited by their small numbers. To reach their ultimate goal of controlling City Hall, they have to use every dirty trick in the book. They need FRENDZ. They have to wow with their fly THREDZ. They have to intimidate with all the SHIVZ they can find. They need the right HEDLINZ to show everyone they matter. They need PUL to get the right things done and they need DURT to keep the man down, and everything costs CHEDDAR. IF they play it right, they can earn enough FAVORZ from City Hall to run the joint.

UNIQUE GAMEPLAY
• Swap between two kinds of workers on the fly during the game: Soldiers and Enforcers
• Manage multiple resources for multiple uses: spend some resources and upgrade others.
• Strategic conflict: knocking out an opponent's worker has a cost - so is it worth it? Are you prepared to take advantage of it right away with another worker? Are you going to need more workers or resources to do it? Can you win an entire game by avoiding conflict entirely? (Probably not.)
• Every gang has unique advantages and disadvantages. Which will be YOUR favorite? Do you want to be sly? Or a thug? Or truly tricky-dicky?
• Alternate rules available for beginners and experienced players. There's even epic rules for longer play.
• Expansions will be available
• Evocative theme! Every place and thing evokes the theme of 1979 in some way. Enjoy the era and feel of the best and worst that year had to give.
