Description
"The four kings are off for the crusade, their queens patiently waiting for them to return. it's all so very idyllic, so let's take advantage of that and steal everything that isn't nailed down. Life is short, and the oh-so-righteous rulers could be back at any second. And you're not the only person who'd like a slice of the pie, so get to it!"
Robber Barons is about collecting as many coins as possible, while making sure that the Queens are returned safely to their Kings at the right moment. Players draw cards to muster their forces, steal coins at every opportunity, and ransom Queens at the right moment.
Robber Barons is easy to learn, and compact, and fast enough to play anywhere.
