On Rocket Lizard Island, only the toughest rule. And the toughest lizards engage in deadly robot combat in the Rocket Mecha Battle Lizard League! Gain Sponsor benefits, analyze the competition, modify your battle mecha, and engage in glorious battle with the three ruling champions! Be the first player to topple the Final Boss to win the game!
Players manage a hand of five Gear Cards to battle the game generated Bosses. Beating the smaller Bosses will unlock higher Quality cards, and beating the Final Boss wins the game. During each season, the Challengers move around the board with a die roll (earning Favor Coins) or by choice (spending Favor Coins), gaining new Gear Cards and swapping existing ones. The Boss Gear Cards are public information: Some cards are weaker/stronger outside of their listed Quality, and you want to look for cards that are useful against different Bosses if possible. It is also important to get a good mix of Phases (I-IV) in your mecha; playing cards in the proper Phase sequence allow you to change your card selection in battle and gain a tactical advantage.
