The time has come once again for the Gods to gather and hold a sacred tournament for the most powerful Champions of earth.

These Champions must work together for their survival, and for a chance to ascend their mortality and become one amongst the Gods.

Rock Paper Scissors Showdown is a 2-4 player card game where players battle it out with 9 mighty Champions, in an ability-charged, modified rock-paper-scissors format. Games are as short as 3 minutes and as long as 15 minutes.

You think Rock-paper-scissors is a simple and mostly random game of chance right? WRONG! Rock-paper-scissors is a strategic, psychological, and cutthroat game, worthy of even the most fierce warriors. Dating back as far as Ancient China, Rock-paper-scissors has been played for thousands of years to settle scores and to see who goes first in board games. Now it's time the art of "Janken" gets its simple, beautiful, and tension-building mechanic showcased in a game of its own!

How To Play (2 players)

1. Each player selects 3 Champion cards, and puts the remaining 6 Champions aside.

2. Players place 2 of their chosen Champion cards facedown in their sideline and 1 facedown in the Showdown area to battle.

3. All players reveal their active Champion in the Showdown area.

4. Resolve any (if possible) Champion card abilities, starting with first player and place health cubes on any faceup Champion cards.

5. Players now battle by playing a “hand” of Rock, Paper, Scissors, SHOWDOWN!

6. The loser of this battle removes a health cube from their active Champion.

7. Repeat battles until one Champion in the Showdown has lost all of its health cubes. Return defeated cards to their sideline, faceup and turned sideways. Play your next Champion faceup in the Showdown area, resolve any possible abilities and continue battling the opponents active Champion.

8. A player wins the game when all of their opponent’s Champions have been defeated. Pass the first player token and play again!
